How it all works

After a solar install, SaskPower installs a bidirectional power meter which sends electricity from the solar system into "the grid" for full credit whenever solar production exceeds demand. This credit covers electrical consumption during times where the system does not keep up to the needs of a property.

Installing a properly-sized solar system ensures that its owner has paid for power for the last time for at least 20 years (SaskPower contract length), and is by far, the most sustainable, lowest cost form of power available.
